[ News ]  VTC-ITE MoU Signing Ceremony - 2014-06-30
Forging a sustainable long-term relationship needs contributions by all parties concerned and is never easy.  But do you know that the VTC and the Institute of Technical Education (ITE) Singapore have been in partnership for 17 years?  Looking back, the two parties established bilateral cooperation in the field of technical education and training by signing the first Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in 1998, and during these years, the "vow" was renewed twice in 2004 and 2009, at an average of 5-year intervals.

On 30 June 2014, the ceremony was repeated once again, as the two parties committed to solidify the partnership under the witness of Mrs Cherry Tse, Permanent Secretary for Education and Mr Chng Tze Chia, Acting Consul-General, Consulate General of the Republic of Singapore in Hong Kong.  This arrangement brings benefits to staff and students of both sides in a multitude of ways, such as study visits, staff and student exchanges, industrial attachments and joint projects.
