30 students visit FMH
Nanyang Polytechnic (NYP) Singapore brought 30 students to Hong Kong for a four-day trip mid-March and, on the 14th, spent a half day with THEi.

Dean’s welcome. Professor Cheng, Dean of the Faculty of Management and Hospitality (FMH), welcomed the students and their accompanying teachers, before introducing the faculty’s programmes.

Campus tour. FMH staff offered a guided tour, taking in food labs where local students prepared snacks for their NYP peers to try, the gym room where an instructor had students working off their snacks, and other facilities across the Kowloon Tong campus.

Time to chat. Students from each institute had the chance to spend some time together and chatted freely about their programmes and student life in Singapore and Hong Kong.

At the end of the visit, Ms Yvonne Loh from NYP presented a souvenir to Professor Leslie Yip as a thank you for the hospitality shown by THEi and FMH. Both sides look forward to the next opportunity for student exchange, whether for a short visit or entire semester.
