Welcome reception allows THEi students to meet other Dutch students in Hong Kong 

Students on exchange at THEi from HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht are just four of over 270 students in Hong Kong from Dutch institutions this semester, all of whom were invited by Consul General Annemieke Ruigrok, for a welcome reception at the official residence of the Consul General of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Hong Kong.  
 

Personal welcomeAll four students, together with three staff from the International Development Office attended the event, where Consul General Ruigrok personally welcomed everyone and mingled with students and staff. Representatives from the Dutch Chamber of Commerce and the Dutch Hockey Club also came along to engage with students and recruit some new players! 
 

A taste of homeIn addition to the selection of drinks, some delicious Dutch food was also served to guests in the beautiful surroundings of the residence garden, including soused herring, a popular style of raw fish in the Netherlands 

THEi students enjoyed a relaxed evening and were pleased to have the opportunity to make friends with students on exchange at different universities in Hong Kong.
