Staff Development
FY 2015-16
Internationalisation can adopt different approaches.  Apart from promoting staff and student mobility, inviting experts / masters from overseas for face-to-face sharing sometimes can be a more direct and effective way as this can reach out to a larger number of audience!

Throughout the financial year (FY2015-16), the International Visiting Fellows / Scholars Funding Scheme (IVF) has provided financial support to various operational units to bring in 16 distinguished experts from around the globe to Hong Kong, including Australia, Canada, Germany, Japan, South Korea, Spain, Switzerland, Taiwan, UK, USA to name a few.

These knowledgeable and professional experts were engaged in delivery of seminars, workshops, demonstrations over a wide range of themes / topics, from the very specialised areas of microbial fuel cell technology, seawater desalination and dementia, to the more daily life related issues, like fashion design and wine training, which served to bring inspirations to the participants!

Let’s relive again the sharing by these experts from the photos below!
