Programme Aims This programme aims to equip students with the skills and knowledge in telecommunication infrastructure including mobile / wireless networks, telephone fixed-line networks, broadband optical networks, network security and network management. Practical work in the programme will be based on recognised trade certificates so that skills are of direct relevance to industry practice and new technologies.

This programme is designed with an emphasis on generic and language training, whole-person development and workplace experience to better prepare students for further studies and employment after graduation.

Industrial Attachment will be arranged at an appropriate time during the period of study between Semester 2 - 4.
Career Prospects Graduates are likely to be employed as Network Engineers and Administrators in the areas of telecommunication systems / networks installation, maintenance, operation and administration. They can also find employment opportunities in technical marketing as well as technical support. They are equipped with the software development skills to contribute to the implementation of services provided on contemporary telecommunication systems.
