Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) in Canada is not unfamiliar to the VTC as it was one of the accommodation sites of the WorldSkills Competition in Alberta back in 2009.  While enroute to Vietnam to attend a conference, its President Dr David Ross and Vice President Corporate Development Dr Alex Zahavich dropped by Hong Kong for a visit to the VTC to follow up on their earlier visit.  The aim of visit was to evaluate the possibilities of mutually collaborations as both institutions have a lot in common, yet room to complement each other through partnership.  After the meeting, Dr Ross and Dr Zahavich were taken to Chinese Culinary Institute (CCI) to enjoy the delicious meal prepared by the students there!
