Greater Bay Area Student Exchange Alliance Charter Agreement Signing Ceremony

The Vocational Training Council (VTC), Shenzhen Polytechnic (SZPT), Zhongshan Polytechnic (ZSPT), and Guangzhou Huashang Vocational College (GZHSVC) signed the Greater Bay Area Student Exchange Alliance (GBASEA) Charter Agreement on 29 September 2022. The signing ceremony was held in hybrid mode in Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Zhongshan and Guangzhou. Witnessed by Mr Donald TONG, Executive Director of VTC, presidents of SZPT, ZSPT and GZHSVC, the charter agreement was signed by Ms Alaina SHUM, Deputy Executive Director of VTC, representatives of SZPT, ZSPT and GZHSVC.

The GBASEA aims to foster cooperation between vocational education institutions and exchanges of young students in the Greater Bay Area. The expansion of the Alliance will bring more initiatives and diversified activities to the GBA youths, and to promote Hong Kong youth’s integration into the Greater Bay Area.

In 2022/23 academic year, the Alliance will organise a series of fruitful activities with the theme of "Technology and Entrepreneurship", and cooperate with industry partners and youth organizations in the GBA to provide VPET students with diversified internship experiences that will facilitate Hong Kong young people's integration and career development in the GBA.
